The EBRD 2018 Annual Meeting & Business Forum will take place at the King Hussein bin Talal Convention Centre managed by Hilton, located on the eastern shores of the Dead Sea in Jordan.

Transport & Accommodation
Shuttle buses from all hotels stop on the Service Road outside the main gates.
Buses do not enter the security perimeter of the hotels or the KHCC.
The Jordanian authorities have kindly provided a shuttle service to & from the Queen Alia International Airport and the KHCC to the hotels listed below.

Accessibility & Assistance
The EBRD aims to remove attitudinal and environmental barriers that create exclusion, undue effort, separation or special treatment. This enables everyone – regardless of disability, age, gender or faith – to participate equally, confidently and independently with choice and dignity.
Level access and ramps are provided in to the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre. Accessible lifts are available to provide step free access to each floor. Personnel with a disability or impairment are advised to contact the EBRD Health and Safety Unit staff prior to arrival at the Convention Centre to allow for a site-specific brief.
Assistance during the Annual Meeting
If you require assistance during the Annual Meeting please make Reception aware on arrival and we will develop a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan for you. Medical staff will be available for the duration of the Annual Meeting. In the event of an emergency please contact staff at the King Hussein Bin Talal Conference Centre who will summon medical staff.
All persons attending the Annual Meeting should check whether they need a visa in advance of travelling to Jordan or whether it can be obtained at the airport.
The Authorities have provided the EBRD with the attached document titled ‘The World restricted and unrestricted countries’ (as at January 2018) for your initial reference.
Restricted countries are those countries whose passport holders must have a visa in advance of travel.
Unrestricted countries are those countries whose passport holders can obtain a visa at the airport.
As at January 2018, of all EBRD member states, only Albania, Moldova and Mongolia passport holders need a visa in advance of travel. All other EBRD member states can obtain a visa at the airport.
The Jordanian Authorities have kindly agreed to offer a free visa to all Annual Meeting participants, providing they produce the EBRD confirmation of registration e-mail to attend the Annual Meeting. Failing to do so will annul the free visa status whose cost will NOT be refunded by the EBRD.

REQUESTING A VISA IN ADVANCE OF TRAVEL
Accredited diplomatic missions and consulates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan worldwide are being informed about the EBRD Annual Meeting.
For those passport holders who do require a visa in advance of travel, they will have to request it from the relevant diplomatic mission and consulate by providing the following:
- A visa application form (A)
- A valid passport with at least 6 months validity
- One recent passport-type photograph
- An EBRD visa support letter (letter of invitation)
- The printed EBRD confirmation of registration e-mail
Travellers are advised to check carefully that all particulars on their visa stamp, including the visa start date and passport number, are correct before travelling, as the EBRD cannot be held responsible for any mistakes made by the Consulate.
Visa applications, where applicable, must be lodged no later than 15 days prior to travelling.

Business Guest Meeting Rooms
Three meeting rooms will be available for business guests to book over the three days of the Annual Meeting (Tuesday 8, Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 May 2018). These 3 rooms are called “Meet-a-Banker” meeting rooms. They have a capacity of 10 people each and are located in the Hilton Hotel Ajloun Wing, within walking distance from the King Hussein Convention Centre. They can be booked for a maximum slot of time of 30 minutes through the EBRD Information Desk located in the main entrance hall (ground floor) in the King Hussein Convention Centre or by filling our form and sending it to AMMeetingRequests@ebrd.com
